Affects: Computer Kit 2017 only
- Black screen
- Message saying 'No Signal', 'Out of Range', 'Unsupported Signal' or similar
We have now released a hot-fix for this issue! Follow the Computer Kit 2017 Hotfix guide.
We're deeply sorry if your Computer Kit isn’t working with your TV right now.
Screens come in all different shapes and sizes. The software on your Computer Kit looks for a best fit between the resolution it would like to use and what your TV can provide.
On Dec 25 we identified an issue with the way the software does this detection. The TV you’re using has suggested a screen size that seems to be incompatible with the Computer Kit, which is why the screen appears blank and may print a message such as 'No Signal', 'Unsupported Signal', or ‘Out of Range’.
Our team is working around the clock to find the cause of the issue, and to release a patch for it as soon as possible.
Christmas is a big day for gift giving, and on behalf of the entire company, we're so sorry if this has caused disappointment. We’re absolutely heartbroken by this, and are going to work non-stop until it’s fixed.
We’ve found a workaround that could help you get your Computer Kit running again. If you’d like to give it a go, check out this guide.
At the moment replacing your Computer Kit is unlikely to help. we completely understand if you’d prefer to return your item to receive a full refund - just let us know your details and we’ll process that for you as quickly as possible.
We’ve dropped the ball on this one, and for that we're incredibly sorry. Thanks for your patience while we fix this, and feel free to reach out to us at any time.
