Are you experiencing a bluetooth connection that keeps dropping or lagging?
First, ensure your app is the most up to date version and your Coding Wand's firmware is up to date.
- If a new version of the Coding Wand firmware is available, a pop up window in the bottom right will appear notifying you of this. This process will take about 2 minutes, do not press the button on the Coding Wand while it is updating.
If you are running the latest version of the Kano App and your firmware is up to date, let's try a few other steps.
Turn the Bluetooth on your computer/tablet off.
Wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
Reconnect your Coding Wand through the Kano app. To do this while at the Challenges map, click the wheel in the top right, next to Profile.
From here you can Reconnect your Coding Wand or set up a new Coding Wand.
If your Bluetooth connection is still not stable, we advise
- Removing the batteries to turn off your wand on and off
- Setting up your wand as a new wand again
- Restarting your computer.
