An internet connection is needed in order to download the Kano App and set up an account, but not to use the app thereafter.
The Kano App is designed to work well on the Internet, so you can save your achievements and creations, unlock costumes, creatures, and skills, and, if you like, share your creations on Kano World: our safe, friendly online community.
However, if you don't want your app to be connected to the Internet while using your Coding Wand, there's a simple workaround: turn off your WiFi or Internet Access on your Device.
You will no longer be able to interact with your profile or the online Kano World community, but all the Play Creations and Coding Challenges in the Kano App will still be available to you.
